Fun or Physio

It's been a long winter.
I'd hoped to be closer to fully functional by now and as we're only a few month away from my one year date when I broke my shoulder,.... well it's pretty frustrating.
But I decided last week to start sewing.
I'm not really inspired to create a large art piece, but I thought cutting and assembling a quilt might be a good transition, both physically and mentally.
I spent a pleasant morning in a shop and with the help from the staff I selected 10 yards of rather pricey batiks.
After a few days of 'OMG what have I gotten myself into', I started cutting.
This is where the physio kicked in. But it was satisfying to make a hundred cuts and a large pile of small pieces.
About a week, and the first half of the blocks are done.

First five fabrics of ten

Cut into 100? pieces

Should be interesting, assembling these into a quilt.
But there are still five more fabrics to cut and sew.
